MAGHDA [DIABLO 3] SHOULDER MOTHS

The only time I ever created a ‘plush’ was back in Middle School (year 8).  It was home-economics class. We learn the basics of cooking/ovens, we learned how to balance a checkbook, we learned how to sew/mend things.

To say I was eager to create these larger than life shoulder-moths was an understatement.  As much as I wanted these little critters to be cuddly and friendly… you know better than to think that it how they will turn out in the end.

Each moth is a bit larger than you might think, after all they do have to be able to lift (fly) Maghda (me) around.  Even though they actually will not be able to elevate my feet off the ground; they have to look the part.

I have refined each pattern piece and will have then available after I have completed my Maghda (Diablo 3) build.

Above is a brief walk-though of how I created my shoulder-moths.  They are so soft and cuddly, I cannot wait to make them gross and creepy!! There are two completely different faux furs used to construct the body overlay. Even though the colors seems to match-up almost perfectly, their textures are far from the same!
